A: Dates and information about upcoming events I will be attending can be found on the Events page. Details can also be found on social media as well!

Q: Does The Mimikyute Guy accept fan art submissions?

A: Not only do I accept submissions, I encourage it! You can find a downloadable template to create your own Mimikyute by clicking here. If you share your work on social media, don't forget to include the hashtag #mymimikyute!

Q: Where can I find The Mimikyute Guy's non-mimikyute related art?

A: I try to share all of my artwork on social media, Mimikyute or not. You can also check out the Gallery page to see some examples of other work I have done!

Products

Q: What products does The Mimikyute Guy offer?

A: I offer a variety of products including stickers, keycharms, and buttons. Some of my designs can even be found on T-shirts and other accessories such as patches and tumblers. In addition to products featuring my existing art, I also do custom art and commissions!

Q: The design I like isn't available in the product I want. Can I request a custom product?

A: If there is a specific design you want to see on a product that is currently not offered, you can reach out by selecting the Products > Custom Products drop-down option in the form on the Contact page.

Q: What if an item I want is out of stock?

A: Unless the item was a limited time offer, out of stock items will automatically be relisted for preorder so you can be next in line to receive it once it's available!

Q: How does preordering a product work?

A: A product that is available for preorder can be purchased ahead of time and the order will be fulfilled at a future date specified in the item listing. This could be a specific day or a window of time (i.e. by the end of the month). This guarantees that you will be one of the first people to receive the product once it is in stock and that you don't miss out!

Orders

Q: Can I make changes to or cancel my order after it has been placed?

A: You can cancel or make changes to an order any time before it has been shipped through the Orders > Change Or Cancel An Order drop-down option on the Contact page.

Q: What if I received a damaged or incorrect item?

A: If the order you received is damaged or incorrect, use the Orders > Problem With My Order > Damaged/Wrong Order drop-down option in the form on the Contact page. Please be sure to include any relevant information such as order number, brief description of the issue, and photos if applicable. 

Q: Can I include notes or a gift message in my order?

A: Absolutely! There is a section dedicated to special notes, requests, or additional information that you can fill out during checkout.

Shipping

Q: What are the shipping options and costs?

A: We currently offer USPS Ground Advantage with Tracking for all products being shipped in the US. Additional services such as insurance are available upon request and may incur additional costs.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: We do ship internationally! Please note that shipping times and fees may vary depending on location.

Q: How long will it take for my order to arrive?

A: For in-stock products, we try to package and ship orders within 1-3 business days from order placement. Once the order ships, it can take anywhere from 2-5 business days to arrive at your door. Keep in mind that these are estimates and that times may vary.

Q: How can I track my order?

A: Tracking information will be provided via email once the order is on its way. You can also find the tracking information under the My Orders section of your profile. 

Q: What if I don't receive my order?

A: If you are unable to locate your order via the tracking provided and it has been at least 10 business days since the estimated arrival date, please use the Orders > Problem With My Order > Lost or Stolen drop-down option in the form on the Contact page. 

Payments

Q: What payment methods are accepted?

A: We accept all major credit/debit cards as well as PayPal and ApplePay!

Q: When will my card be charged?

A: Your card will be charged upon completion of the order and will appear as "The Mimikyute Guy" on your statement.

Q: Will I receive an invoice or receipt for my purchase?

A: You will receive a detailed invoice and purchase receipt via email upon order submission. A package slip containing order details will also be included in the order itself

Q: What if I have questions about a charge on my card?

A: If there is a discrepancy or question related to a charge from us, please use the Orders > Problem With My Order > Payments drop-down option in the form on the Contact page. For all other questions, please speak to your credit card provider. 

Commissions

Q: What is the process for commissioning a piece?

A: You can request a commission quote by using the Commissions drop-down option in the form on the Contact page. I will reach out to let you know I received the request as well as gather any additonal information regarding your commission. I will then draft a preview sketch for your approval before taking payment and sending you the final draft.

Q: What is the price of a commission?

A: The price of a commission varies depending on the request and is determined by estimating the time needed to complete the project, including potential edits and changes. There is no set price for commissions as they are customized to meet individual needs.

Q: Can I request changes or edits to a commission?

A: Absolutely! During the commission process, there are plenty of opportunities for you to request changes or edits to ensure that the final result meets your expectations. However, it's important to keep in mind that as we progress further into the commission, accommodating significant changes or extensive revisions may require additional time and effort, and, as a result, there may be a need to adjust the cost to account for the increased work involved.

Q: Are there any restrictions as to what can be included in a commission?

A: There may be restrictions on what can be included in a commission based on legal, ethical, or personal boundaries. Generally, commissions should adhere to guidelines that prohibit vulgar, offensive, or violent content. If you are unsure whether or not your request is appropriate, do not hesitate to ask!
